Figured I post a thread about our C30. Several things will change over the next couple months so I figured I post one with all the progress and updates.

Some pix from today...got her tinted. Wanted to wait another week or so, but we might leave early for PA and I had a guy who was able to do it today.

We are having a blast with this car so far. 5 days of ownership has been awesome.

Yeah, we do. Our plans so far (by spring time):
-Momo Winter Wheels w/ Yokohama IG20 (check - to be installed next week)
-Tint (done today)
-18" Wheels
-Intake
-Suspension work
-Badgeless Grill
-either painted R-Design kit or have the stock one painted
-Magnaflow muffler with 4" tips

That's it so far...Most of the stuff will not happen until spring though. But I will start collecting parts over the next few months.

You may want to pick up some rear reflectors to fill in the rear bumper "slots"...

John S at Boston Volvo discounts parts including rear reflectors. A number of us on board here have bought them from BV.

(Is Brian OK? Anyone?

He's the godfather of rear reflectors and has missed a few chances to plug the functional beauty of rear reflectors lately...)

Nice, looks good. I was thinking about doing 35% tint when i get mine. Wasn't sure if I wanted to go darker. Definitely doing 35 now.

Tim - Yeah, 35% is pretty decent. Dark enough, but not too dark to get you in trouble with the cops. But not sure what your laws are out there. I originally wanted to do the rear hatch window at 17% as it is crazy how much people can see looking into the rear. But I opted to stick with 35%. Can always go darker on the rear if needed. Will take some better pic tomorrow.

It's 35% around here but the police really don't hassle you about your tint. I've had a car with ~15% on all the windows and I hated the lack of night time visibility. I was pulled over a few times in that car, but it was for speeding. Never got a comment on the windows being too dark.

Go jackie! Great looking ride (I love the tint). But I love even more the clear fun you are having and planning.

And yes, rear reflectors from John at BV are a rite of passage. You don't have to get them, you just have to know you have the option. (John is great to work with should you go that route.)
