Picked Up My C30 At The Weekend

Firstly, I would like to say hi to everyone. I joined these forums about 2 weeks ago to see all the cool thing people had been doing with their C30's. There are masses of information on here which is awesome. Hopefully I’ll be able to contribute to it at some point.

Secondly, I got my new car . I have been driving round in an old Vauxhall Corsa 1 litre for the last 2 years. While this car was ideal for a first car it was never really very quick and wasn't too comfortable. So i have saved up for 2 years and just purchased my C30. It was totally worth the wait. It is so much nicer than my old car to drive; it’s much more comfortable, looks cooler and is a lot faster.

When I got it back home I had to take the obligatory "just got my new car" pictures.

Needless to say it isn't that clean now. Brittish weather sucks so im going to have to wash it this weekend.

Anyway, I look forward to being an active member on these forums now that I have my car.

Congrats Wizardskills! Your new 2.0D R-Design looks amazing and I know you are loving the change of power from a measly 1 liter to a mighty 2 liter diesel.

AFAIK he considered buying one as replacement for his Mini which was fully black (all chrome etc. removed)...

@ Wizardskills

Well, very pretty!

Two things though!

No. 1:

Lower it! Looks as if it is on stilts!

No. 2:

You need a second exhaust pipe (okay, I have only one aswell, but I am working on it )

Otherwise: nice!

Yeah it looking very high is the one that that annoys me about this car. I am thinking of lowering it but I have a feeling it will invalidate my Volvo warranty which isn't something I'm very keen on doing. I am also thinking about changing the wheels on it as they look very small. I have been looking around and have seen a few that I like. My first choice would be a set of 18 inch O.Z Hydra's.

I'm not sure if they will fit on a C30 though and I'm not sure how it would affect my warranty.

check they havent left the blocks in the suspension, which will cause you to ride high!

never thought of it that way, but ur right. It does need lowering. I'll probably do that on mine when I get back to the US though...

they just blocks caught between the coils of the suspension, should be easy to spot.
