T/C from the dealer today. My Saph Black 1.6 petrol C30 r-resign has been built and will be available for collection on the 23rd of November. That's just over a week away, and seven days sooner than expected

Since I placed the order, the weeks have passed really, really slowly, but that time has been spent wisely, researching cleaning methods and stuff (didn't know what a "clay bar" was, 'til I signed up to this forum

)

Next task: find out how to join the 1.6 Petrol owners club.

Task after that: Figure out how to hide keys from wife.

Yup

"Turbojunk" is a nod to my present everyday drive, a 4WD, turbo'd end of line classic Impreza. As soon as the C30 arrives, the Imp is off for an overdue overhaul.

My driving licence and insurance premium need time to recover too, so the 1.6 will provide welcome respite

Been to the dealer over the weekend to choose a reg number. Not much to choose from, they all had Z in them, so I went for XPZ. Sounds kind of like "Exposed" (UK alphabet, where Z=Zed, not Zee, tho Exposee/expose might work too).

Anyway, collecting the C30 on Friday, 27th November.
