iPhone 3G S Voice Dialing works in MY09 C30! - with iPhone OS 3.1 - Volvo C30 Forums and Community

That's cool to hear. Unfortunately my iPhone is needed for work and I can't take the chance of the 3.1 beta having bugs.

So, how do you initiate the voice dialing?

3.1 is final and has been released to the public now! Grab it along with iTunes 9!

Hold the handset pickup (call) button down... the VoiceControl prompts come over the speakers and everything!

Wow that's fantastic news! I just got my iphone 3GS a few days ago. Will add a voice to contact and test it. on another iphone point, this morning I was wondering why it wasn’t connecting via Bluetooth then I remembered I hadn’t turned it on before starting the car so I was turning it on when it slipped out of my hands flew across cabin and landed ( and dinted ) the aluminium centre instrument panel. How angry do you think I was??? So went straight out and brought silicon cover. Needless to say if I had it on, it wouldn’t have dinted it. And on the day the new Victorian road rule ban you from handling mobiles in cars!!!!!! Any ideas on whether to ignore dint, it’s quite small, or do I look at relacing panel??? will get pic soon

How do you activate the voice dialing from your bluetooth device? I am running v 3.1.
My iPhone doesn't react at all when I ask for voice controlin the telephone menu of the parrot.
