Attention Passion Red owners.... - Volvo C30 Forums and Community

Wish this was my car but its not... The dealer has done this job for some reason and this is a demo. I think its pretty cool though

. What do ye think. It has cream leather interior. Not really sure of any further spec and i dont know what engine it is. I have not driven it yet. You would think they would park it in an easier place for me to take photos of while they are closed...

On another note when i decide to drive(i mostly cycle the 12k) to work i usually see a black S c30. But otherwise i have not seen many here. Also saw a C70cc behind me in the rear view mirror a few weeks back. It was quite obviously the c70 and i had no trouble distinguishing it from the saloons bearing in mind the front end is pretty much similar on volvos. I think it was because it was low to the ground and the steep window and had Xenons. I would love to see a c30 like this...

Needs more wheel!

Tire wheel combo looks silly with that stripe IMO

Yeah 18" Atreus would finish it off nicely. But here they are E2000.00 option so i would say that rules them out for most ppl. Besides the wheels though i think it looks good. Its modifying it but in a subdiued way....

IMO - the 'strip on the bonnet thing' belongs to the MINI. It's the only modern car where stripes on the bonnet looks good and not out of place...

On the track - Yes. On the road the words 'BOY' and 'RACER' spring to mind.

If I'm correct, MichelR has a full-red car (no cream upholstery if I'm correct) and it certainly looks the part!

Not bad.
Although I'd delete the C30 in the hood(bonnet).
Plus, stripes HAVE to go over the roof.

who's gonna be the 1st one to paint a Swedish flag on the roof?

To me those stripes cheapen an otherwise classy front end. If I woke up in the morning and discovered white stripes on my C30 i'd cry.

I agree with VolvoMax that - if one has to have white stripes - they should go on the roof as well.

But they are best avoided. They really make me think of Starsky and Hutch on that red car.

Rather stick to my all Red then to put some stripes on it..

Like it the way it is now.. :-)

Here in the Netherlands there are several dealer C30's with a swedish flag on the roof..

Well i taught i would post it anyway to see what ye think. I think its a happy medium between a normal car and a boyish racer car. Dont think i would do it personally though. I would however get the atreus wheels. Yeah i think the white stripe should go over the the top and back as well. I like the C30 taken out of the strip but i am a graphic designer and i like typography!!!
