Shrek - Volvo C30 Forums and Community

While driving to work the other day, the sun was behind my car and the shadow ahead of me reminded me of Shrek's head. The head was big and ogre-like and the windows looked like his ears.

Anyone else have that kind of moment with their car?

And another question I have.....am I the only female that participates within this group?

Janet, that is darn funny. Who says you need drugs to have a good time & be creative. I may just look at my C30 differently than expected when it finally arrives.

I don't know if you are the only female in the NE group. I check in occasionally because I'm from New England originally and sometimes get nostalgic. I have certainly enjoyed my exchanges with the boys from NE, even the Bruins fans.

I remember a post from another woman (unless it was you) who was transitioning to Boston. Maybe she'll weigh in.

Nope you are not the only one! I live in West Point but I commute to Suffern for school. I am in Bergen county on the weekends.

Hey Janet,
My bf(Euroc30mods) lives in fair lawn. I don't usually take 17 because of the heavy traffic. You can find me on 287 and route 208. but i'll keep an eye out!

Give Seven Lakes Dr between 87 and Bear Mtn a try. It's slower but the northern two thirds are a great drive, southern third is a bit rough.

That road is spooky at night. No ones around and its pitch dark and theres no phone service either.

I'm in Ft Lee and work in Parsippany so I'm mostly on route 80. And I've yet to see another c30 and I've had my car since October!!!!!

I think that's what draws me to it. I love when there isn't another car around and I can use as much pavement as I want
