Blue or blue?

Hi all, Barents or Brilliant? I just can't decide!

Both look nice, I was leaning toward Brilliant before I decided on Electric Silver... just had to have the black leather with red carpets... :-) for what it's worth there are other cars out there with shades of blue very similar to Brilliant, but none that I've seen close to Barents. If you want to blend in, go Brilliant, if you want to stand out, go Barents. That's just my .02 cents. Either is a good choice really.

Oh yeah...

I ought to add that I'm getting the R-design and in the UK that comes with the silver wing mirrors.

So so excited about getting it after having test driven it. I'm not even ordering until June and delivery 1st September - such a long wait!

Barents is OK in bright sunlight but looks a boring grey in any other lighting. My dealer has more new Barents cars in the showroom than any other colour. Now why might that be...

Hey man - don't you go raining on my Barents Blue parade!!!

I actually agree with you, but I live in L.A, so sunshine is more often than not the order of the day!

Brilliant Blue all the way IMO! (I think it's a really nice looking vibrant blue!, and it was my close second choice to E. Silver)

See them in person. Personally, I see the Barents as grey in most light. Not at all attractive to me.

I'd also go with brilliant blue myself, I would imagine being a lighter colour it would show dirt & (god forbid) scratches less than barents blue. I personally think the C30 looks better in lighter colours, but of course colour is a really personal choice.

Barents

Thanks guys, I'm still not sure though. Anyone got pix uploaded of barents or brilliant? I've only found a barents on flickr, brilliant is harder to come by!

Until a few days ago I would have said the Brilliant blue without hesitation given the choice of those two. That was until on here a member in the US posted pictures of his Barents blue C30.

However, I think I would go for the Brilliant blue as I think I goes really well with the R-design interior and the silver mirrors.

Hard choice... i'd say that if u like to be center of attention go for the brilliant, if u are a little bit more discret... Barent. I love both...

ops... sorry... just the neckless

Thanks all

Hi guys, thanks for your comments. The photos are especially helpful - I think it's going to be the brilliant blue - it matches very well with the silver wing mirrors and just suits the sporty nature of the r-design!

Now it's down to 2.0d or 1.6d!

1.6d is gutless compared to the 2.0d IMHO.

Hi Roby, never driven the 1.6d but since getting my 2.0d last week i've been very impressed how smooth and quiet it is,but with talk the price of diesel soon to be hitting £1.50 litre i,m thinking l should have bought a petrol.
