Thank you for the pictures. Is that equiped with the sport option? I like the black portions on the lower portions of the car. Most times, such as with BMW for example, when the lower portion of the car is black, it ends up looking rather low rent. The MINI seems to be able to pull of the black wheel arches though. I think you got it right as far it needing the body kit.

As pictured, it looks tippy in an SUV manner.

Thats not the sport.

Not sure how the specs are in the US but thats the UK SE Lux - it costs the same as the SE Sport but rather than big wheels and the bodykit you get leather, folding door mirrors, heated seats etc. I'd have the sport everytime, you can see pics of the Sport on loads of the other threads - looks a lot better than that IMO

Evening,

The first demo has arrived in Birmingham, due to be followed by the Design Concept and an all-black sport next week, will post pics when they drop.

I've also just placed an order for a 5th demontrator (only for us big dealers, carl) Passion Red D5 SE sport with premium audio, winter pack black+beige seats etc...

That Orinoco (?) blue colour with the leather interior looks very nice! Is the leather colour pale grey or cream? I will probably end up ordering a 1.6D SE in that colour combination sometime next year (finances permitting of course).

If you get the chance to take some more pictures in daylight please do so since they would be much appreciated. It's a pity I don't live closer to Birmingham otherwise I would drop in to have a drool, though I will try and visit my local Volvo dealer soon to see what C30(s) they have got/will be getting.

C30 D5 SE Sport

I had a quick drive in this and it's noticabley better in Sport trim with the larger wheels and sports chassis. Geartronic box seemed to be more responsive this time too....

P.S the white floating centre console is a welcome change form the aluminium. Looks very fresh.

Well that's confirmed what I thought - 16" wheels definitely look too small on this car, I'm getting some 17".

The base upholstery is dodgy in blue, seen the red yet?

And is the Sports suspension available as an option then? I thought all UK cars came on the Dynamic suspension.

I think its the lowered chassis, looks a bit lower but I couldnt see any proper detail in the brochure or anywhere.

i havent seen the red yet but get the black if you've ordered/ordering an S model.

This is the normal white, or the metallic? In the side view, it looks like a silver..
