For Texas members and surrounding states - Volvo C30 Forums and Community

Wow, didn't think there were going to be that many C30 owners in the Texas area. Especially the last I spoke with Volvo of Houston, only a handful had been sold in TX.

I recognize some of your usernames and I appreciate yall for visiting the Texas Volvo Crew board. For those of you who aren't aware, there's a local board of Volvo enthusiast who range from just daily drivers, to classic model restorers to all out monster horsepower drag strip and/or road track racers and all points in between. C30 being the newest model line is still growing and if you would like to meet other brand enthusiast give us a shout at http://forum.texasvolvocrew.com.

There's a growing number of local meets monthly like North Texas Monthly Meet (consist mostly DFW locals) and Houston's First Friday of the Month European Auto Group Meet which will actually happen tomorrow. There's also a growing amount of Regional Meets, more and more are being held in conjunction with VCOA events. This year we plan on attending the National Volvo Meeting in Lindsborg, Kansas in the summer. So please check out our Meet forum to find out whats happening around you and the state.

For anyone who's interested in meeting other enthusiasts to just chew the fat, or need helping turning some wrenches (yall are all still under warranty i know) like throwing on some lowering springs or bolting on exhaust, don't be afraid to come on over and ask. It's the idea the TVC board was built on. People having fun with their cars and making new friends.

Used to be the only C30 in Wichita Falls....wife saw a white one today...some older lady driving it....but ours was the first!!!!

Still getting the usual *what is that?* Is it really a Volvo?

New, proud owner of a 2009 C-30 R and thus, new to this forum. Interesting in meeting other enthusiasts in the Dallas area. I'll be in need of someone to help turn some wrenches soon as my MOD list has already burned a hole in my wallet! LOL. Suspension and Exhaust are the first on my list!

I just started working for Volvo and I have been so interested in the 2010 Volvo C30, that I am getting one. I am from Shreveport, La. I bet there arent many "enthusiasts" for C30 in Louisiana, but hey hows everyone doin?

Hi Josh- I actually just moved back to the DFW area from Shreveport. There is a flash green S60R running around Shreveport and that owner is on SwedeSpeed. There is also another member that gets on Volvospeed in Shreveport and another guy from NOLA.

So no...not tons of Volvo activity in Shreveport....or car activity period. The guys at 318Racing.org do some with the euro stuff so you might hit them up.

We have a lot of meets in the DFW area so you might make it over for that.
