Thought this would be fun for those who get their C30 via OSD. Here is a C30 that was in the factory delivery center showroom last march.

BEAUTIFUL building. I'll be sure to photo the heck out of our car when we pick it up this summer. Also hope to get a Swedish cutie to pose next to it for a frame or two

Hey, UV....do you have any idea if there will be any changes to the OSD program for U.S. customers for 2008? Volvo seems to have the best program going. Compare it to BMW's: you have to pay airfare, and take a taxi from the airport to their pickup center! LAME. You pay gobs more $$$ and get inferior service. Only 13 days to go before I leave from Portland to Gotenberg. Its been almost 2 months now since I placed the order and its been hard not to think about it all. And this is from a guy who travelled for a living!!

Did you purposely prolong the pick up for Summer delivery? Ordering Jan/Feb and picking up till Summer seems like a long time.

How long does it take normally from Ordering to Pick up?

My order including the $4000 deposit was placed Oct 31, 2007. Balance was paid Dec 5th and pick-up date at the factory is Jan 7, 2008. I am staying only 2 nights. Delivery date to the dealer in Portland, OR is March 15-30 2008.

Wow! Very nice looking Titanium V50! Your wife must love it! I like the Serapis wheels! The waterfront in Goteborg looks very pretty! What was the temp?

You're making my heart ache, wonderful photo. I believe they will be running the C30 racer in an STCC round this summer close to where you took this photo.

No changes are slated for the OSD program. I think that Volvo realizes "if it ain't broke...don't fix it"

The temp when I took the pic was @ 32. It was @ 6:30pm...not too cold!..especially if you have a shot or two of some good Swedish Vodka

(I was not driving that night...one of my Swedish friends was the DD)

I know, I went to the San Diego dealer and when I saw it I was in love, it's a really nice shade of blue.

And you pics a nice, I'm convince now on the color I want that color because of your pics,
and yes I looks very good in pics but it looks so much better in person.

The car was picked up on the day I flew in. I stayed in Gothenburg one night then drive to Copenhagen and stayed for two days. Then drove north of Gothenburg to Bjertorp Slott for one night. And enjoyed one last night in Gothenburg on the day before we flew back to the US.
