Ride height/spring confusion.....

I have read several places that by having the Version 2 (US) C30, which includes the "Dynamic suspension", that the vehicle is equipted with the .8" lowering springs. I don't think this is true, I have a V2 and you could fly a small plane between the tire and the wheel arch.

If you would all be so kind as to post up what the distance from the center of your front wheel to the bottom of the wheel arch we may be able to figure this out once and for all.

2008 US C30 V2 = 14.75" (37.5 cm)
(roughly measured, a better measurement on Monday)

Thank you!

Check that your shipping blocks have been removed.

One member took delivery of their car only to find that the shipping blocks had never been removed. Once they were, the car was much lower.

The V 2.0 has dynamic suspension, but as far as I was aware that doesn't mean the car is lower than the V-1. Am I wrong?????????

Blocks are out and I agree that the dynamic suspension does not mean lower, but the consensus seems to say it does. I just don't want to buy the lower springs only to find that I already have them. Ounce of prevention ideology.

The Sport Suspension is a dealer installed item.

Sport Lowering Kit

A lowered sport chassis can give your car an even more dynamic stance. This spring package also lowers the car's center of gravity by 0.8", so you can enjoy a more exhilarating drive.
