Pics of Midir / Atreus please... need to finally order! - Volvo C30 Forums and Community

I'm spec'ing my C30 R-Design but can't decide whether to go with the 18" Midir or Atreus alloys. Has anyone got photo's of real cars with the above wheels as i must have spent hours clicking on the car configurator without being able to decide.

The car will be titanium silver if that helps

Opinions welcome too

Here are my Atreus..

Note that the Atreus are painted in the titanium grey... which is a nice feature because it matches my paint and it doesn't look dirty as fast!!

Probably not the pic you had in mind when you requested one of a Midir, but maybe this will have an impact on your decision? (it certainly would for me)

I love my Atreus

You can't go wrong though, Midirs look amazing too.

yup,from one half of the rim, to the other, the wheels looked great, but way to delicate in my opinion as i was the one to have suffered as you can see in the picture, it happened to both the wheels on the left

Atreus,

Love the Midir but feel they show too much of brake disc, esp when the car has been standing and they have rusted!

The only problem with the atreus is that there is a larger surface area of diamond cut to be damaged by our roads and harsh winters - http://www.c30world.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10379

Atreus for the win!

The Midir also look nice, but that failure posted above really solidified my thoughts that the wheel didn't look like it had enough support for the inevitable pothole hit.

As an owner of Atreus rims, I would take the Midir...

Why? Take a look above! Most common rims:

#1: Serapis
#2: Maestra
#3: Atreus

Yea, but the C30 is such a rare car that even if everyone has Atreus rims, it would still be a fairly rare sight. (^_^)

The 18's aren't an option on the SE LUX so I had to go with the Zaurak rims which are still quite nice. If I had the choice, I'd pick the Atreus as they look unique and flashy. The Midir just look like a set of aftermarket rims, nothing brand / model specific on them.
